How MAR Supports the Commonwealth

With a mission to support those in need across the Commonwealth, the MAR Charitable Foundation uses the funds they raise to support Massachusetts-based 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that address housing, hunger, homelessness, and disaster relief. 1. Your Generous Donations

All donations help the Charitable Foundation award funds to charitable organizations across Massachusetts. Thank you for your support.

2. The Welcome Home License Plate

Welcome Home plate purchases continue to be a crucial way to reach the Foundation’s goals and to help local communities. You can support charities and show your state pride when you get your own plate. Watch our videos to learn more or click on the images to the right. Order Welcome Home Plate

When ordering your plate online you will need your: driver’s license number, plate type, vehicle registration number and expiration, email address, and applicable payment. *The kind of plate is “Charitable Plate” and the specific plate is “Welcome Home.”

To order your plate in-person: Visit an RMV Service Center. You will need a completed Registration and Title Application that has been signed and stamped by your insurance agent/company. Payment methods vary by location, check what’s accepted at the site you will be visiting.

3. Annual Charitable Foundation Silent Auction

The silent auction is an important annual tradition and a great way to get fabulous items while supporting non-profit charities.

Housing Grants

Disaster Relief Grants

The MAR Charitable Foundation awards grants to 501(c)(3) organizations to support temporary relief for victims of natural disasters and major events.
