|Massachusetts Home Sales Up Again in February|
|One of the biggest February increases since the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® has reported monthly sales data
WALTHAM, Mass. – March 27, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that February 2012 home sales were up again compared the same time last year. This is the eighth straight month of year-over-year increases and one of the largest February increases since MAR has been tracking monthly sales. Condominium sales were also up significantly from February 2012. Median prices were down for both single-family homes and condominiums compared to the same time last year.

|WALTHAM, Mass. – March 29, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) today announced that it has promoted MAR Associate General Counsel Michael McDonagh to MAR General Counsel and Government Affairs Director. McDonagh, who has been at MAR for 11 years replaces long time MAR General Counsel and Government Affairs Director Stephen Ryan who is leaving MAR to become executive director of the New England Convenience Store Association.

|REALTOR® Price Index over 50-point threshold for first time

WALTHAM, Mass. – March 20, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) today announced that confidence in the market has gone up for the seventh straight month compared to last year according to results of the February REALTOR® Market Index (RMI). The REALTOR® Price Index (RPI) in February was also up over last year and eclipsed the 50-point mark for the first time in 22 months. Over 81 percent of respondents believe the impact on the market would be positive if legislation proposed by U.S. Senator Scott Brown to improve the short sale process was made into law.|

|February single-family pending sales increase hits new record
WALTHAM, Mass. – March 13, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that the number of single-family homes put under agreement in February went up again for the 10th straight month compared to the same time in 2011. Condominium pending sales were also up from the same time last year. Pending figures are a leading indicator of actual housing sales in Massachusetts for the following 2-3 months.|

WALTHAM, Mass. – February 28, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that January 2011 home sales were up over the same time last year. This is the seventh straight month of year-over-year increases while condominium sales were down slightly compared to January 2011. Median prices were down for single-family homes and essentially flat for condominiums compared to the same time last year.
