WALTHAM, Mass. – April 24, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that March 2012 home sales were up again compared to the same time last year for the ninth straight month. Condominium sales were also up from March 2012. While median prices were down for single-family homes, prices were up for condominiums. |

| REALTOR® Market Index reaches second highest point
WALTHAM, Mass. – April 18, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) today announced that the REALTOR® Price Index (RPI) hit an all-time high in March, while the REALTOR® Market Index (RPI) hit its second highest point since both data have been tracked. REALTORS® who responded to the survey are increasingly positive about both sales and price increases, while reporting that the majority of their buyer clients are mildly concerned about job loss in the current economy.

WALTHAM, Mass. – April 10, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that the number of single-family homes put under agreement in March went up again for the 11th straight month compared to the same time in 2011. Condominium pending sales were also up from the same time last year. Pending figures are a leading indicator of actual housing sales in Massachusetts for the following 2-3 months.

WALTHAM, Mass. – March 27, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that February 2012 home sales were up again compared the same time last year. This is the eighth straight month of year-over-year increases and one of the largest February increases since MAR has been tracking monthly sales. Condominium sales were also up significantly from February 2012. Median prices were down for both single-family homes and condominiums compared to the same time last year.

| WALTHAM, Mass. – March 29, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) today announced that it has promoted MAR Associate General Counsel Michael McDonagh to MAR General Counsel and Government Affairs Director. McDonagh, who has been at MAR for 11 years replaces long time MAR General Counsel and Government Affairs Director Stephen Ryan who is leaving MAR to become executive director of the New England Convenience Store Association.
