| Multiple snow storms in February negatively impacted market activity
WALTHAM, Mass. – March 19, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that the REALTOR® Market Confidence Index (RMCI) hit another all-time high in February, the REALTOR® Price Confidence Index (RPCI) was also up compared to 2012. This is only the second time since the data has been tracked that the RMCI was higher than the REALTOR® Price Confidence Index. A majority of REALTOR®-members who responded, believed that the snowy February had a negative impact on the real estate market.

| February Pending Home Sales up as Multiple Weekend Snow Storms Had Impact |

| WALTHAM, Mass. – March 12, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that February pending home sales were positive for the 22nd straight month compared to the year before, but winter weather kept gains modest. Pending sales figures (also called homes under agreement) are a leading indicator of actual housing sales in Massachusetts for the following 2-3 months.

WALTHAM, Mass. – February 20, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that REALTORS® started out 2013 very confident in the real estate market as the REALTOR® Market Confidence Index (RMCI) and REALTOR® Price Confidence Index (RPCI) both hit all-time highs in January. REALTOR®-members generally believed more buyers would enter the market if interest rates were to go up at least one percentage point over the next six months.
