WALTHAM, Mass. – December 2, 2012 – Kimberly Allard-Moccia, a resident of Holbrook and broker/owner of Century 21 Professionals in Braintree, was installed on December 1, 2011 as president-elect of the 19,000-member Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) for 2012. The event took place at the Salem Waterfront Hotel and Marina in Salem, Mass. and included the installation of the MAR Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Allard-Moccia’s term officially begins on January 1, 2012.
As president-elect, Allard-Moccia will participate at all levels of the Association's decision-making process, represent the Association at important meetings and business functions, and serve as a spokesperson for the Association on various real estate industry-related matters. In addition, she will perform the duties of the Association’s president in his absence. She automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of her election.
Prior to being elected as 2011 president-elect, Allard-Moccia served as MAR’s Southern Region Vice President in 2011 and as Chair of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee Trustees for the past two terms and third term overall. She has been a member of the MAR Board of Directors since 2005. She has also served on the Finance Committee, Communications Committee and the Professional Standards Committee. Allard-Moccia has served on the Government Affairs Committee since 2007 and was the Focus Area Vice President for Government Affairs in 2008, a member of the Executive Committee as Focus Area Vice President for Business Development and Legal Affairs. In 2010, Allard-Moccia was selected as the MAR REALTOR® of the Year
At the local level, Kimberly Allard-Moccia served 10 straight terms as Chair of the Plymouth and South Shore Association of REALTORS® (PASS) Orientation Committee. She also has been a member of the Association’s Professional Standards Committee, the Government Affairs Committee, and the PR Task Force and Speakers Bureau. In 2006, Allard-Moccia was PASS President and in 2007 she received the President’s award. In 2009 and 2010 she was named Honor Society Member and in 2009 she was named REALTOR® of Outstanding Service.
At the national level, Allard-Moccia has been a member of the NAR Board of Directors and Communications Committee since 2009.
A REALTOR® since 1999, Allard-Moccia has earned the e-PRO and Loss Mitigation (LMC) Certifications and the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), GREEN, and Certified Buyers Representative (CBR) professional designations.
