| Clients’ ability to secure financing remains tight
WALTHAM, Mass. – June 20, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that the May REALTOR® Market Confidence Index (RMCI) and the May REALTOR® Price Confidence Index (RPCI) were both over the 80-point mark for the first time. REALTORS® report that their clients’ ability to secure financing has stayed the same or is more difficult than the same time last year.

| WALTHM, Mass. – June 12, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) today announced that Judy Moore, a broker with Higgins Group REALTORS® in Lexington has been named the 2013 recipient of the MAR Public Policy and Property Rights Advocacy Award. Moore received the award at the Association’s annual REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill event that took place at the Massachusetts State House on June 5, 2013.

WALTHAM, Mass. – June 12, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation recently announced the 2013 recipients of its spring Housing and Homeless Assistance Grants. The following 11 charities were nominated by local REALTOR® Associations and then selected to receive a share of $14,500 in grants based on their initiatives to provide affordable housing, shelter and other emergency care services within Massachusetts:

| Prices had first annual double-digit gain since 2010
WALTHAM, Mass. – May 29, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that the lack of homes for sale over the past several months once again pushed the number of closed home sales down in April. However, a big jump in the number of new listings on the market in April could indicate a positive shift in future closed sales. Median home prices went up for the seventh straight month. Both sales and median prices of condominiums were up again.
